Machined from a thickened block of custom Damascus steel,
the finished grip carries a continuous grain across its cut surfaces —
a quiet sign that the form comes from the material itself.

The hot shoe top is shaped with an irregular four-facet structure,
sharp in line, but carefully softened for touch.

Underneath, a recessed design avoids contact with the hot shoe terminals.

More than a visual detail,
it gives the thumb a firmer resting point
and brings steadier one-handed control to the Leica body.

From raw steel to a 37.28g finished form,
this is a small object made with unusual weight behind it.
