FAQs
How do I know if an AKuser accessory fits my camera?
Use the compatibility table above to find your camera brand and model. Each accessory type is marked as Compatible, Check model, Check size, Not applicable, Not recommended, or Not tested yet. Please check both the table and the selected product page before ordering.
What does “Compatible” mean?
“Compatible” means AKuser has confirmed that this accessory type can be used with the listed camera model. Compatibility still applies to the selected product version, size, and design series, not necessarily every AKuser accessory in that category.
What does “Check model” mean?
“Check model” means the accessory type may work, but compatibility depends on the specific camera model, generation, or body design. Similar camera models may still require different accessory versions.
What does “Check size” mean?
“Check size” means the accessory may fit, but the final result depends on dimensions such as shutter thread, button diameter, strap lug size, hardware size, or available body clearance.
What does “Not applicable” mean?
“Not applicable” means the accessory type does not match the camera’s structure. For example, screw-in shutter buttons are not suitable for cameras without a compatible threaded shutter release.
What does “Not recommended” mean?
“Not recommended” means the accessory may be physically attachable in some cases, but AKuser does not recommend it for that camera setup because of weight, body size, handling, or usage risk.
Are AKuser accessories universal?
No. AKuser accessories are not universal accessories. Compatibility depends on the camera brand, camera model, accessory type, and selected product version.
Are AKuser accessories official Leica, Fujifilm, Sony, Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Ricoh, or Hasselblad products?
No. AKuser accessories are third-party camera accessories. AKuser is not affiliated with Leica, Fujifilm, Sony, Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Ricoh, Hasselblad, or other camera brands mentioned on this page. Camera brand names are used only to describe compatibility.
Does AKuser shutter button fit Leica Q3?
Selected AKuser screw-in shutter buttons are compatible with Leica Q3 series cameras. Please choose the correct design series and size on the product page before ordering.
Does AKuser shutter button fit Leica Q2?
AKuser screw-in shutter buttons are not applicable to Leica Q2. The Q2 body does not use the threaded shutter release structure required for AKuser screw-in shutter buttons.
Which AKuser accessories fit Leica M10 and M11 cameras?
Selected AKuser shutter buttons, hot shoe covers, thumb grips, and straps may be used with Leica M10 and M11 series cameras. Thumb grips are designed only for selected M10 and M11 bodies, so please check the product version before ordering.
Can I use an AKuser hot shoe cover on a Leica camera?
Selected AKuser hot shoe covers are compatible with selected Leica camera models. Hot shoe cover fit depends on the AKuser cover version and the camera model, so please check the compatibility table before ordering.
Does AKuser shutter button fit Fujifilm X100VI?
Selected AKuser screw-in shutter buttons can fit Fujifilm X100VI when the selected button matches the camera’s threaded shutter release and the preferred button size.
What determines AKuser hot shoe cover compatibility?
AKuser hot shoe cover compatibility depends on the product’s hot shoe slot dimensions, outer curve, and the model-specific fit between the cover and the camera’s hot shoe structure. It is not determined by electronic contacts or camera top plate height.
What is the benefit of AKuser hot shoe cover’s back clearance design?
The back clearance design helps the hot shoe cover reduce unnecessary contact with the camera’s hot shoe area. It is made to improve the installation feel, reduce friction during installation or removal, and create a cleaner fit on selected camera models.
Can AKuser straps be used on heavy cameras?
AKuser straps are better suited for compact and mid-weight camera setups. They are not recommended for overly heavy or bulky camera setups, such as Hasselblad X2D-type bodies.
Does AKuser hot shoe cover fit Ricoh GR III, GR IIIx, or GR IV?
Ricoh GR compatibility should be checked mainly for hot shoe covers. GR III, GR IIIx, and GR IV use different model generations, so hot shoe cover fit should be confirmed by model before purchase.
Why is Ricoh GR marked as “Not applicable” for shutter buttons?
Ricoh GR cameras do not use the typical threaded shutter release structure required for AKuser screw-in shutter buttons. For Ricoh GR cameras, the main compatibility category is hot shoe cover fit.
What should I do if my camera model is not listed?
If your camera model is not listed, contact AKuser support with your camera model and the accessory you want to use. Do not assume compatibility from a similar camera model.
