There is a quiet elegance in the traditional Chinese oil-paper umbrella.
Its slender ribs unfold in perfect rhythm, supporting a graceful curved canopy. It is a familiar form in Chinese art and poetry, evoking the atmosphere of a bygone era.
The Sun Series draws inspiration from this timeless structure.
Its name is also a subtle nod to sǎn (伞), the Chinese word for umbrella.
Rather than recreating the umbrella itself, AKuser translates its defining lines into a compact metal design. Forty radial ridges come together beneath a curved dome, bringing a touch of traditional Chinese aesthetics to a modern camera accessory.

Its intricate design brings together forty closely arranged radial ridges, a curved dome, and four angled surfaces.
The finely textured side edge adds another layer of detail, giving the button a distinctive mechanical character.
